Manuscript on the Veronese School of Painting
Jean Paul Richter was an art historian, dealer, and art advisor who was an associate of two other canonical art historians--Giovanni Morelli and Bernard Berenson. The manuscript is interesting for Richter's thoughts on the Verona school, and is also an important document in the history of connoisseurship and is relevant to a substantial collection in the Princeton University Art Museum.
